Who’s a good fit for Lunchbox?

We’re looking for renegades ready to support businesses with radical candor. While experience in the food industry is a plus, we’re more interested in individuals committed to making a change in someone’s everyday life. We want people who lead with passion, enthusiasm, and a ready-for-anything, let's-get-scrappy attitude.

What does the hiring process look like?

We like to start by talking shop, which means your first conversation will probably be with someone on the team that’s hiring, not with someone on the Talent Acquisition team. After that, you’ll go through a number of rounds with people in different roles, your peers, and leadership so we can get to know each other better. The timeline for hiring varies, depending on the role and the number of applicants. If you’ve applied, but haven’t heard from us, we’re only able to follow up with candidates we’d like to move forward with in the interview process due to the large volume of applicants.

But where are you based? And do I need to move there?

Technically we’re based in NYC, but we’re a remote-ish company at heart, meaning we centralize our team around a select number of states. Why? So employees aren’t totally dispersed and able to connect to other Lunchboxers in their region.

Can I apply for more than one job? Or reapply after an unsuccessful interview process?

Feel free to apply for more than one job, but it’s best if you only apply to relevant roles. If you haven’t been selected for a position, we fully support candidates applying again, but we encourage you to get additional experience before throwing your hat back into the ring.

What should I wear to an interview?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable! Black tie and tails or jeans and a t-shirt, if you feel confident, we feel good.
